In the UK a Pom Wonderful juice commercial has been pulled for overinflating the benefits of the pomegranate fruit. It seems as if the advertisement stated that the juice can help drinkers “cheap death.” Hard to say who is right on this one. Certainly the anti-oxidant benefits of the pomegranate can help reduce damage to body tissues and perhaps more.

Ok, we admit. One of the pomegranate benefits that we like best is its taste. One thing that you will want to try out, perhaps at your Super Bowl party, is a pomegranate kir royal (royale). Just because it is a guys game and night, doesn’t mean you can spice it up with nice tasty and classy drinks. Go out and purchase a decent bottle of sparkling wine. This would actually be what is known as a Kir Petillant. Anyway, try adding some pomegranate seeds as well as some pomegranate liqueur to your glass for a nice twist on the Kir drink and an alternative to beer on Sunday.

Obviously we know that every fruit or vegetable has its benefits and can actually help us with living a healthy life. So, what is the big deal with pomegranates, and what are the benefits that come along with bringing this articular fruit into our lives?

If you are looking for a fruit that is chock full of antioxidants, a fruit that can really knock out that nasty cholesterol that seems to be bringing everyone down, then you need to take a look into pomegranates. Keep in mind that you do not need to eat the actual fruit, you can drink pomegranate juice as well which can be found at any grocery store near you.

Another great benefit that comes along with pomegranates and pomegranate juice is the fact that it can actually fight breast cancer. This is a major breakthrough when it comes to the fight against breast cancer. There are various studies that actually show that pomegranate juice can kill the cancer cells as well as prevent the breast cancer cells from forming together!

If you have unnaturally high blood pressure, your doctor might recommend that you start drinking a few servings of pomegranate juice or start eating the actual fruit. Who would of thought that you could lower your blood pressure simply by drinking a few cups of pomegranate juice?

Pomegranates are a delicious fruit that everyone loves to break open and enjoy. So, if you need to get on track to lower your blood pressure, or you are looking for a way to keep from getting breast cancer, then you should take a look into pomegranate and pomegranate juice and see what it can do for you. There are so many benefits that come along with this fruit, and it seems as though it can tackle the major health problems that you could face throughout life. Talk to your doctor about pomegranates and get as much information as you possibly can. You never know, it may be the fruit that could actually save your life!
